Drive Invoice Parser is a Google Workspace™ add-on that helps you extract structured financial data from PDF and image invoices stored in Google Drive™ and write the results into Google Sheets™ when you manually start processing from the sidebar.

What We Process

When you click Start Processing in the add-on sidebar, invoice files from a Google Drive™ folder you specify are processed only to extract financial data fields such as:

• Vendor name
• Invoice date
• Invoice number
• Currency
• Net amount, tax amount, and total amount
• Line item summary (a brief text summary of products or services billed)

Processing occurs only when you initiate it. The add-on does not run scheduled or background scans. We do not access Drive folders or files outside workflows you start.

Data Storage and AI Training

Your invoice files are not stored on our servers after parsing completes.

Extracted values are written into your Google Sheets™ spreadsheet, which remains under your control. We do not use your files or extracted invoice content to train AI models.

We retain minimal account metadata to operate the service, including your Google account email (for free-tier usage tracking), subscription tier, and monthly invoice usage counts. Paid-plan license keys may also be stored to link your subscription to the add-on.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Drive Invoice Parser's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

OAuth Scopes

Drive Invoice Parser requests the following Google OAuth scopes. Each is used only for the purpose described:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — identify your Google account email so we can track free-tier monthly usage and link paid subscriptions to your account.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui — display the add-on sidebar, homepage card, and Extensions menu inside Google Sheets™.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly — read invoice PDF and image files from Google Drive™ folders you paste into the sidebar.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets — write extracted invoice rows into your active spreadsheet.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.external_request — call our licensing API (usage and subscription verification) and Google's Gemini API to extract invoice data from your files.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data or Google user data. We share data only with infrastructure providers required to deliver the service (for example, payment processing and secure API hosting), and only to the extent necessary to operate the product you requested.
